Physician-led
The person who assesses you is the person who treats you.
At this practice, every assessment, every injection and every device treatment is carried out personally by Dr. Hussein. The plan and the needle stay in the same hands.
It matters for two reasons. The first is judgement — knowing when to treat conservatively, when to stage a plan over months, and when to tell a patient that the treatment they have asked for is not the one they need. The second is safety. Injectable complications are rare but real; they must be recognised within minutes and treated straight away, and here the doctor who treated you is the one who manages them.
How it works
Three steps, no pressure.
01 A message
Ask anything on WhatsApp — what a treatment involves, how a consultation works, when the doctor is available. Messages are answered by the clinic team, and asking commits you to nothing.
02 A consultation
A proper assessment and an honest conversation about what is achievable. You leave with a written plan and its costs, and time to consider them.
03 Treatment and review
Where more than one treatment is needed, it is staged over weeks or months rather than stacked into one appointment. For injectables, a review at two weeks checks and refines the result.

Laser dermatology
The laser is chosen for your skin, not the other way round.
Here, laser means medical resurfacing. Fractional CO2 for acne scarring and texture, pigment-selective wavelengths for melasma and sun damage, radiofrequency microneedling and focused ultrasound for laxity — each answers a different problem, and the wrong one, however confidently applied, can do more harm than no treatment at all.
That choice matters more here than it does in Europe. Most patients at this practice have Fitzpatrick type IV to VI skin, which is more prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation — so settings, passes and pre-treatment preparation are decided around that risk from the outset. Dr. Hussein sets the parameters and holds the handpiece himself.
Before you message
The questions people ask first.
Can I ask a question without booking?
Yes, and most people do. A question is only a question — whether to book is entirely your decision, in your own time.
Who will actually treat me?
Dr. Hussein himself, from the first assessment to the review. Every injection and every laser or device treatment is performed by him, and never delegated.
Will I still look like myself?
That is the whole aim. Treatment is conservative and staged, to restore proportion rather than add volume, and to leave a face that still moves and still reads as yours.
How much will it cost?
That depends on what is recommended once you have been assessed. You are given a written plan with costs before anything is done, and you are never asked to decide on the day.
I don't know which treatment I need.
That is the normal starting point. Describe what bothers you in your own words; the clinic will arrange the right consultation, and there you will be told honestly what would help — including when the answer is a different treatment, or nothing at all.
Is my enquiry confidential?
Your enquiry is handled discreetly by the clinic team, as with any medical appointment. If you would rather not describe your concern in writing, simply ask for an appointment.
Where is the clinic, and when can I come?
At Smart Care Medical Center in Zinj, Manama, by appointment — Saturday to Thursday, 11 am to 7 pm. When you message, the clinic will let you know Dr. Hussein's next available times.
Ask a question before you book.
A single question is a perfectly good place to start. Message the clinic whenever it suits you.
